Every year, about 300,000 tourists come to Meyer Werft to see on site how state-of-the-art shipbuilding works. Tourists are particularly captivated by the huge luxury cruise ships and the complex production line at the shipyard.

In cooperation with the Papenburg Tourism Ltd. a Visitors Centre is operated to provide a detailed insight into the production process at the yard by means of exhibits, videos, a mock-up cabin, etc. 

And every time a ship is conveyed down the river Ems, large crowds are attracted to witness this spectacular event.
