The construction of the Oriana and the Aurora in the 1990s marked Meyer Werft's entry into the British market.
Up to this day, the Oriana is the flagship of P&O Cruises, who owns a fleet comprising six ships, which make them the biggest cruise company in the UK. The P&O ships call at more than 200 ports all over the world and have become a familiar sight on the seven seas.
P&O's cruise liners have quite a lot to offer, dwarfing most of their British competitors. They have an above-average number of cabins with balconies, which make them especially attractive to demanding passengers. Well designed suites as well as state-of-the-art sports facilities are provided, cosy bars and stylish lounges invite the passengers to have a refreshing drink and to stay for a while. Moreover there are spacious pool decks to relax. A panoramic view of the ocean let the passengers forget their worries for a while.
